2 million quid and Watford laughed at us. Who is laughing now!

Just remember Harry maguire cost 40x more than dawson

The big fella was immense tonight. What a signing for that money. You can barely buy Modibo Maiga's right knee for £2m. Yet we landed Daws for that. A steal.

He was superb to tonight. But let’s not forget about Zouma just because he cost a few more quid.

It wasn't just the tackles, that long ball to Benny's foot in the first half was Mooresque

The new Ginge.

Re: Craig Dawson...
I was pleased when we signed him as £2m was a snip for an experienced no-nonsense defender who also chips in with a few goals. A decent addition to the squad.

However, he’s been different class in the main and the last ten minutes tonight summed up exactly what he gives us. £2m has been a ridiculous bargain.

Throwback to old school defending

Re: Craig Dawson...
An old school warrior. Amazing to think that someone from Watford for 2 mil who nobody wanted ''let's face it, it's gonna be Craig Dawson, innit' is writing himself into West Ham folklore as a bit of a cult hero. He reminds me of James ''I never got to say goodbye to the laundry/tea ladies'' Collins. Moyes has got away with not signing a CB in Jan due to this fella.

Re: Craig Dawson...
Not just this game but most of the season hes been for the most part outstanding and consistant.

You would think if Southgate was watching, which im sure he would have been, he would at the very least make a note to pop in his waistcoat that Dawson is maybe one to keep tabs on especially if Maguire continues to gift opponents opportunity’s and generally be a bit flat footed and shit for ManU, but I doubt he will, unless he’s injured Maguire is as good as on the plane to Qatar and even then wouldn’t be the first time England have taken injured players to tournaments in the “hope” they recover.

Re: Craig Dawson...
He is an old school defender with a lot of heart. He chips in with goals. But he has also improved his passing since he joined us. If TTA had played that ball to Benrahma, BT would be showing replays non-stop.
